Breakfast is important for our active lifestyle and many of us can’t do that properly. One reason that we don’t have proper breakfast or skip it entirely, is because we are in a hurry and don’t have time to cook and clean up. Fortunately, there are ways to quickly have a healthy breakfast. First of all, it should be quite simple and easy to prepare smoothies. The pureed fruits should allow us to have smoothies with different styles and flavours, from the fresh, tangy variant; to the energy-packed one. You can choose all of your favourite ingredients and blend them all together. It’s a power breakfast that you can do very quickly. One problem with preparing breakfast is that we have no time to clean things up. Many people don’t want to leave home with messy kitchen and a stack of dirty dishes, because they don’t have enough energy to clean up when arrive home.

Grease is harder to clean, it is a good idea to try cook water-fried eggs without using any oil. You can start to put bread in your toaster and then start water-frying eggs. You need non-stick skillet and put ¾ cup of water on it. Bring it to a full boil, which should only take a minute. Crack in a couple of eggs and season them with salt and pepper if desired. Obviously, it’s hard to flip the egg without making a mess, so you should only cover the skillet and let the hot steam cook the upper part of the egg. Turn the heat down and cook gently for about 3 minutes or longer depending on your preferences. Put eggs between hot pieces of breads from the toaster; add mayo, tomato and lettuce, to improve the taste. The skillet, spatula and dishes will be much quicker and easier to clean.

Apple and almond butter is a surprisingly tasty breakfast and it’s also healthy. It’s a light breakfast that is easy to prepare and won’t cause a messy kitchen. Slice and cut up some apples and sprinkle it with some cinnamon. Eat it with almond butter. It tastes so good that it feels like you are eating desserts for breakfast.

If you are a whole-grain kind of individual, it is a good idea to have a bowl of rice. Oatmeal is a typical ingredient for breakfast, but many people already get bored with it. You can cook rice during the weekend and put it in the fridge. During the normal workday, you can prepare breakfast by putting the cold rice in a bowl and microwave it, until it’s hot. You can eat it with water-fried eggs or sausage that is also cooked in microwave. If you want to have a light breakfast, you should also consider having banana sandwich. Put slices of banana, peanut butter and a bit of cinnamon butter in well toasted pieces of bread. If you want to have quicker breakfast, it is a good idea to prepare for your breakfast before going to bed and it may only take 15 minutes.
